Will there be a The Mother 2? Netflix has yet to confirm if there will be a sequel, but Jennifer Lopez and the team behind The Mother are thinking about it. Not much is known in regards to a sequel, except a potential title: I think it would be The Daughter,  Lopez told Variety at the movie's premiere.

After pleading with them to no avail, Sam convinces Georgia to let Forest go so he can have a better life. She then boards a military convoy to Portland alone, while Sam is implied to have died of his injuries.
